Other Ghostly Legends
of Sweet Hollow Road
Extensive research was conducted at the Half Hollow Hills Library
(located on Sweet Hollow Road). The Paranormal Adventurers
pored over countless newspaper articles and town records in
addition to interviewing Huntington Town Officials about the urban
legends listed above.
The Disclose: All these legends are false.
HOWEVER....The Paranormal Adventures found evidence of other
ghostly activity in the mysterious area known as Sweet Hollow Road
that has nothing to do with the recurring legends.
One of the most popular legends of Sweet
Hollow Road is that of the ghost of Mary.
Depending on who is telling the story
Mary was either a nurse who was killed in
a fire at a hospital located on nearby
Mount Misery Road or a bride...known as
"The Lady In White" who was killed on
her wedding day.
Another legend that has been circulating for years is that of a police
officer who stops drivers on Sweet Hollow Road in the dead of
night...however...the night isn't the only thing that's dead
The officer, who has blood dripping down his shoulders onto
to his uniform, does not speak...just stares vacantly at the
terrified occupants of the vehicle. As he turns to walk away
they see that the back of his head is missing!
