the road. Notice how its face is connected to
the ground by what appears to be a cord or
connecting line of ghost material, sometimes
called ectoplasm, sometimes plasma, most
times energy. The energy, in this case,

Notice the light rod in the
photo to the left (enlarged
above). One can plainly see
there is nothing reflecting in
the woods that would create
this anomaly. The rod is a
match to many other light
rods of this kind that we
have captured at many other
sites, chiefly graveyards. A
psychic told us the rods
were the spirits' way of
welcoming us to the places
they dwell.

Ghost hunters are often torn by orbs of the type pictured
above. On the one hand the orb is dense white and appears to
be moving the way spirit manifestations are often
photographed moving; on the other, the orb pictured above is
clearly spherical just like a regular dust orb.
Some people believe orbs are spirit manifestations; other
people believe they are not. It all depends what a person
believes.
However, the belief that such an orb is spirit may increase
when it is photographed at a known haunted site, such as
Sweet Hollow Road. When such an orb is photographed at a
family gathering where a family member who regularly
attended such functions is absent because of death, then,
too, the view that such an orb might be spirit greatly increases.
